Round-the-clock lighting, being a factor in the<br \/>\nviolation of natural daily biorhythms, has a stressful effect on the body and causes an<br \/>\nimbalance in the secretion of melatonin. Violation of melatonin synthesis affects the<br \/>\nneuroendocrine system and immune reactivity, increasing stress pressure. Unbalanced<br \/>\nresponse and\/or long-term exposure alters biochemical parameters, composition and<br \/>\namount of metabolites and contributes to their accumulation. Sorbents can become one of<br \/>\nthe factors for correcting the effects of stress. The use of a sorbent-based aluminum oxide<br \/>\nand polydimethylsiloxane alleviates the pressure of roundthe-clock lighting stress,<br \/>\nmaintaining the viability of thymus cells, increasing the proliferation of young CD3low<br \/>\nlymphocytes and normalizing the cell cycle of thymus stromal cells.
