However, poor assembly quality undermines the validity of further<br \/>\ngenetic analysis. The current work aimed at producing a high-quality genome sequence of a<br \/>\nflax (Linum usitatissimum L.) variety using the Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT)<br \/>\nplatform. We adapted a plant nuclei isolation protocol for flax. Pure high-molecular-weight<br \/>\nDNA of the L. usitatissimum line #3896 was extracted and sequenced on a MinION<br \/>\ninstrument.
