The Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICG SB RAS<\/a>) is pleased to announce the 15th International Multiconference on \u201cBioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure\/Systems Biology\u201d \u2013 BGRS\/SB-2026<\/span><\/strong>. The conference will take place from July 6-11, 2026<\/span><\/strong> in Novosibirsk, Russia and will be held in a hybrid format<\/span><\/strong>, offering both online and in-person participation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 1998, the BGRSSB series has been a biennial gathering of highly qualified specialists working on interdisciplinary tasks in the fields of modern bioinformatics, systems computational biology, mathematics, physics, computer science, and their applications in biology, medicine, pharmacology, bioengineering, biotechnology, genetics and plant and animal breeding. These experts gather in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok to discuss pressing issues and share their research findings.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024, the BGRS\/SB-2024 Multiconference was held in a hybrid format, with both online and in-person participation. The event attracted 1040 researchers and students\/post-graduate students from 32 countries<\/span><\/strong> who presented a total of 793 reports<\/span><\/strong> (470 oral presentations, including 359 \u2013 in-person and 111 online presentations as well as 323 posters).<\/span><\/p>\n

The BGRS\/SB-2026 program will be structured around two key areas:<\/span><\/strong>
1. Bioinformatics, systems and structural computer biology, artificial intelligence.<\/span>
2. Experimental and informational-computational approaches.<\/span>
Both areas will feature 13 symposia (as outlined in the detailed program)<\/span><\/p>\n
