July 7, 2026 (Tuesday) — Excursion to the NSU Scientific and Educational Center “Evolution of the Earth”
Meeting point: the inner courtyard of NSU at 1 Pirogova St., near the entrance to Block No. 1, at 13:30.
The excursion starts at 13:40. Duration: 1–1.5 hours, until approximately 15:00.
Group size: up to 60 people.

July 8, 2026 (Wednesday) — “How the Sea Was Built” Excursion
Departure from NSU at 10:00 from the area near the transformer booth at the end of the NSU building on Universitetsky Proezd.
The excursion starts at 10:30. Duration: 1.5 hours, until 12:00. Return transfer at 12:00. Arrival at NSU at approximately 12:30–12:40.
Group size: up to 23 people.

The walking tour “How the Sea Was Built…” includes a large amount of local history information, memories of long-time residents, interesting stories, photo and video archives, and at the same time offers a pleasant walk along the embankment with a view of the Ob “Sea” and a visit to the Chyomy Museum.
We invite you to take a walk along the ObGES embankment and enjoy the remarkable views of the “Ob Sea”.
During the excursion, you will learn:
– how many plans there were to dam the river and why the river was not dammed according to the original plan;
– how a remote village became part of Novosibirsk;
– why the first Russian settlers chose the left bank of the Ob River;
– what the district looked like in the 1950s;
– why Novosibirsk needed a hydroelectric power station and whether it could have managed without one;
– what happened on October 27, 1956.
Duration of the excursion: 1.5 hours.
July 8, 2026 (Wednesday) — Excursion to the Greenhouses of the Central Siberian Botanical Garden, SB RAS
Departure from NSU at 14:00 from the area near the transformer booth at the end of the NSU building on Universitetsky Proezd.
The excursion starts at 14:30. Duration: 1.5 hours, until 16:00. Return transfer at 16:00. Arrival at NSU at approximately 16:30–16:40.
Group size: up to 30 people.
Please note that in summer the temperature in the greenhouses can be high — up to 50°C.

Ornamental Plant Garden, French Garden, Garden of Continuous Flowering Plants.

The excursion starts at 14:00. Duration: 1 hour, until 15:00. Return transfer at 15:00. Arrival at NSU at approximately 15:30–15:40.

July 9, 2026 (Thursday) — Trip to Mikhailovskaya Embankment in Novosibirsk with the “Seven Bridges” Boat Excursion
Departure from NSU at 16:00 from the area near the transformer booth at the end of the NSU building on Universitetsky Proezd.
Arrival at Mikhailovskaya Embankment at approximately 17:00–17:30, depending on traffic. After arriving in the city, participants will have free time for an independent walk along the embankment and a ride on the Ferris wheel. Ferris wheel tickets are purchased by participants independently.
After that, all participants should gather at the Rechnoy Vokzal pier by 18:15 for boarding.
The “Seven Bridges” excursion starts at 18:30. Duration: 2 hours, until 20:30. Return transfer at 20:30. Arrival at the Zolotaya Dolina Hotel at approximately 22:00.
Group size: up to 20 people.
Important: for this trip, the conference organizers provide only the bus transfer from NSU to the embankment and back to Akademgorodok. Tickets for the “Seven Bridges” excursion must be purchased from the Organizing Committee on the conference registration day, July 6. The excursion fee is 1,200 RUB per person.
July 10, 2026 (Friday) — Open-Air Museum
Departure from NSU at 13:30 from the area near the transformer booth at the end of the NSU building on Universitetsky Proezd.
The excursion starts at 14:00. Duration: 1 hour, until 15:00. Return transfer at 15:00. Arrival at NSU at 15:30.
Group size: up to 50 people.

The Open-Air Museum is a division of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The museum includes several historical buildings, a collection of archaeological stone statues and slabs with petroglyphs, as well as ethnographic reconstructions.
Duration of the excursion: 1 hour.
