Aptamer-based detection systems are promising for investigating the role of DKK-1 in the pathological process of ankylosing spondylitis. In this work, a series of DNA aptamers with high affinity for DKK-1 were obtained and characterized. Based on the obtained aptamers, colorimetric ELISA-like sandwich systems for DKK-1 detection were constructed and tested.
