Sections: [Sym 8] Modeling and computer analysis of microbiological systems and processes

Obesity and related metabolic disorders are becoming an increasingly common risk factor leading to public health problems. The aim of the study is to determine how these conditions affect the gut microbiome, which may contribute to the development of new treatments and prevention methods in the future.

The results obtained indicate changes in the microbiome in obesity and metabolic syndrome. Functional composition was found to be more stable compared to taxonomic composition. The changes found in different phenotype groups find confirmation in scientific articles.
