The transcription factor (TF) EIN3 plays a critical role in plant development in response to ethylene. This TF binds to DNA regions in gene promoters, inducing a transcriptional response. We have previously observed the presence of four structural variants of EBS, which may have different effects on the regulation of gene expression by ethylene. In this work, we focused on studying the relationship between structural variants of EBS and the regulation of basic plant traits under the influence of these factors.
