Sections: [Sym 9] Section“Tissue engineering”

The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, the important role of cardiovascular surgery in the treatment of such diseases and the insufficient effectiveness of recanalization of small diameter arteries require the development of new materials and implantable products. The development of cellular and molecular biology, polymer chemistry, chemical methods, and tissue engineering makes it possible to develop new materials with the required properties and implanted devices made from such materials. The report presents data on the basics of product design for the above-mentioned area of cardiovascular surgery and modern achievements (including those of the authors of the report) in this area.
