Bus Tour “Evening Novosibirsk”
An introductory bus tour around the city of Novosibirsk with stops at significant places. The tour includes a visit to the observation deck in front of the planetarium, a drive over the Bugrinsky Bridge, a trip to the “Arena” park, a visit to the city center (Sverdlov Square and its ensemble), the old town, Lenin Square, Gorky Park, Kommunisticheskaya Street, the State Public Scientific and Technical Library (with its remarkable fountains), the Central Railway Station, the Opera Theater, and then the Embankment.

Historical Park “Russia – My History”

The creators of the park – historians, artists, filmmakers, designers, and computer graphics specialists – have done everything to transform Russian history from a black-and-white textbook into a vivid, engaging, and yet objective narrative, allowing every visitor to feel connected to the events of over a thousand years of their homeland’s history.
During the first hour, participants will spend time with a guide. The remaining time in the park (until its closing at 18:00) will be free for participants to explore the exhibitions of their choice. As many who have visited the park say, even five hours are not enough to see all its exhibitions…

Open-Air Museum

The Open-Air Museum is a division of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The museum features several historical buildings, a collection of archaeological statues and slabs with petroglyphs, as well as ethnographic reconstructions.

The walking tour “How They Built the Sea…” offers a wealth of local history information, memories of old-timers, fascinating stories, photo and video archives, and at the same time, a pleasant walk along the embankment with views of the Ob “sea” and a visit to the “Chemy” museum.
We invite you to walk along the embankment at ObGES and fall in love with the unreal views of the “Ob Sea.”
On this tour, you will learn:

– How an isolated village became part of Novosibirsk
– Why the first Russian settlers chose the left bank of the Ob
– How the area looked in the 1950s

Tour to Novosibirsk Zoo

The Novosibirsk Zoo named after Rostislav Alexandrovich Shilo is one of the largest zoos in Russia. It covers an area of 65 hectares and houses about 12,000 animals of 790 species. More than 350 species are listed in the International Red Book. About 180 species are listed in the Red Book of Russia and Regional Red Books. There are international studbooks for 110 species.
The Novosibirsk Zoo is engaged in breeding felines and mustelids and has one of the best collections in the world of representatives of these families. The zoo staff participates in 77 international programs for the conservation of rare and endangered animal species. It is a member of two international unions: EARAZA (Eurasian Regional Association of Zoos and Aquariums) and WAZA (World Association of Zoos and Aquariums); it is also a candidate member of EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquariums). The zoo participates in the international computer program ZIMS.
The guided tour duration is 1.5 hours. After that, participants can explore independently for another 1.5 hours.
