I have a question concerning your hypothesis that explains the link between melatonin and dawn phenomenon . From the diagram (slide 3) it is not obvious that “at 4-8 o’clock in the morning there is a sharp decline in the concentration of melatonin” – may be better to say “at 4-8 o’clock in the morning the level of melatonin returns to norm”? May be better to propose that a sharp increase of melatonin at a nighttime produce changes in hormonal status leading to metabolic changes?
My second question concerns the graphical presentation of objects in the networks shown on the third slide. Usually proteins are shown as red circles (as it is presented on the bottom figure). And what is the meaning of the upper network? What objects does it contain (no circles – no proteins ?? –And what about prolactin? Insulin? Leptin?)
